چکیده

This article proposes a bidirectional feedback mechanism for consensus in group decision making (GDM) driven by the behavior of makers (DMs), which is discriminated with flexible harmony degree as one three possible states: (1) ‘tolerance behavior’; (2) ‘rationalist and (3) ‘conflict behavior’. The first two states are to be resolved reaching process round recommendations discordant DMs. However, conflict state, implies lack between aim ‘consensus’ individual benefit, it unreasonable only DMs’ recommendations, concordant DMs also expected make concessions at some degree. To address this not so unusual research problem, theoretical framework developed. Firstly, maximum model proposed resolve behavior’ Secondly, activated support reach threshold values consensus. A numerical example provided illustrate verify usefulness how compares against other existent mechanisms terms extent up preferences changed

Visual Consensus Feedback Mechanism for Group Decision Making with Complementary Linguistic Preference Relations

A visual consensus feedback mechanism for group decision making (GDM) problems with complementary linguistic preference relations is presented. Linguistic preferences are modelled using triangular fuzzy membership functions, and the concepts of similarity degree (SD) between two experts as well as the proximity degree (PD) between an expert and the rest of experts in the group are defined and u...

Emotional consensus in group decision making

This paper presents a theory and computational model of the role of emotions in group decision making. After reviewing the role of emotions in individual decision making, it describes social and psychological mechanisms by which emotional and other information is transmitted between individuals. The processes by which these mechanisms can contribute to group consensus are modeled computationall...

Individual Confidence-Weighting and Group Decision-Making.

Group-living species frequently pool individual information so as to reach consensus decisions such as when and where to move, or whether a predator is present. Such opinion-pooling has been demonstrated empirically, and theoretical models have been proposed to explain why group decisions are more reliable than individual decisions. Behavioural ecology theory frequently assumes that all individ...
